Wrightsville Beach
Mason's Inlet

The background of this page is a 360 x 180 degree equirectangular image 400 feet above Mason's Inlet on the North end of Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. The image shows the southern tip of Figure Eight Island on the other side of the inlet. Looking South you can see Shell Island and then Johnnie Mercer's Pier further down the beach. In the distance, on the horizon, are the cranes of the North Carolina Port at Wilmington. Looking back down the beach strand and toward the intracoastal waterway, the image shows a vast expanse of tidal waterways windng their way toward the mainland.
